Every traveller in Australia needs a fixed mailing address. Its essential to set up your Tax File Number, bank account and Medicare (if eligible) and a great way for family to send you letters and parcels.
Travellers Contact Point’s Mail Holding Service provides a fixed mailing address for your entire stay in Australia. For only $75 for 12-months, they will hold your mail for you to collect or will forward it to you as you travel.
How it works:
Sign-up online at www.travellers.com.au. Once registered, give your TCP Mail number and address to friends, relatives, bank, tax office, employer, superannuation company etc.
When mail arrives at TCP they will advise you by email. TCP can either hold your mail for collection or forward it to your nominated temporary address.
Manage your Mail Service online - check for new mail, change your forwarding address or upgrade / entend your service.
Leaving Sydney? TCP will forward your letters and postcards to you, wherever you are in Australia. Please note, large envelopes and parcels can only be forwarded to Australia Post offices - additional costs apply which must be paid on pick-up.
