A harvest job with Viterra is ideal for those looking to explore regional South Australia (SA) or fund their travels. With the majority of our sites are located in regional SA, you can spend your free time travelling around and making the most of the beautiful local areas with a huge range of experiences on offer – all while making earning money!

Most of our harvest jobs are available from approximately October 2024 to January 2025, subject to site location and harvest. There are opportunities to stay on further into the year, or to move sites and ‘travel with the harvest’. Training may be provided before October, depending on your role, start date and location.

This well-known construction company operates on commercial large scale building projects and is currently looking for a Nightshift Site Supervisor to manage up-coming works on a large scale commercial project. Predominately working on commercial and residential projects, they have numerous busy construction sites across Australia and continue to be awarded new projects.
This role would require you to manage a commercial project with a project value of approximately $100 million. The key requirements of this role are strict professional management of subcontractors, eye for detail with respect to work quality, strong technical knowledge of construction and constant adherence to OH&S.

To be considered, you must have experience running large scale multistorey commercial or residential projects, and you will be trade qualified and have experience running inductions and chairing meetings. You will be a professional and presentable foreman with exceptional communication skills.

ULTIMATE is a Gap Year travel company exclusively for 18-35 year old’s. Our mission is to deliver Ultimate travel moments to young travellers. We are currently recruiting a Reservations Agent to join our ULTIMATE Crew for a six month period. 

The Role

Our Reservations Agents are responsible for managing and overseeing our tour bookings for all destinations. Key responsibilities will include;

• Processing tour bookings and administration
• Answering Phones 
• General Office Administration Duties
• Customer service offering excellent pre and postbooking customer support
• Booking tour components and preparing manifests
• Managing distribution channels and update availability
• Liaise with booking agents & overseas partners and keep them posted on updates and availability
• Work together with sales team / interns to ensure cohesion
• Generate and implement solutions for issues / problems / inadequate procedures.
• Action customer correspondence via phone and email, assisting with general enquiries, quotes, itineraries, troubleshooting and sales
• Support all contact centre operations

The role is for a six month period based in our Sydney central office

We are looking for new sales representatives to join our Sydney head office team. Reporting to our General Manager, your primary role will be to drive sales and book travel arrangements.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Sell travel products and tour packages from two office locations and online.
• Develop, supervise and grow events and product awareness and success
• Effectively manage incoming calls and emails from clients and suppliers
• Organize high quality work & travel information sessions for UltimateOz participants
• Provide excellent after sales support 
• Be a confident public speaker and be able to present to up to 20 customers. 
• Maintain a constant positive communication flow between group leaders & office staff
• Undergo training in different fields (i.e. sales / marketing / admin / management)

Our ideal candidate will have East Coast Australia travel experience and match some of the following criteria:

•  Great with people / team player
•  Confident public speaker
•  Proven admin, customer service & sales experience
•  Target driven and keen to earn commission
•  Must be able to identify with our 18-35 backpacker target market
• Fluent English speaker
•  Candidates who speak a second language will be highly regarded.
• Must have full working rights and be available for 6 months (minimum)

Job Description

We are currently looking for a farm hand at our station located 25km's from Griffith. You will need to have a vehicle to get out here. 

The position is on a livestock cattle station. Your duties will vary but will include tagging the calves ears once they are born, some calving duties, driving tractors and 4 wheel drives and other general farm duties.

Experience is not necessary but you need to be fit and strong for this position and have common sense. We do have a basically furnished house on the farm, you would need to have a vehicle to go to Griffith for your supplies. You are welcome to make it homely and it has airconditioning and heating or there are working hostels in Griffith that you can stay in.

We are offering 40 hours a week and $27 an hour if you stay in our house or $30 if you live  elsewhere

We are seeking 2 workers, can be a couple or 2 single people. One person at least MUST have some experience in housekeeping, the 2nd person is required for allrounder type work.

Accommodation is provided onsite and breakfast provisions are provided for you. There is a commercial kitchen (currently not in use for the motel) but you can cook your own meals in there.

There is a variety of chores each day and work is over a 7 day period. You will have allocated days off each week as per the roster.
