    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As a Customer Service Agent, you represent our Airline customers. You will be responsible for greeting customers in a friendly, professional and courteous manner. You will ensure that a customer's journey starts in a relaxed and positive way by being helpful, equally respectful to all customers and by anticipating customer needs.   

    YOUR DUTIES

    • Greeting customers with a smile at Check-in
    • Processing and checking travel documents meet requirements
    • Assigning seats on the aircraft
    • Preparing and issuing boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers 
    • Gate boarding
    • Passenger Marshalling 
    • Disruption Management

    KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

    • Experience in Airline Customer Service role
    • Familiarity of SYD International & Domestic Terminals
    • Customer-centric focusing on delivering exceptional service
    • Positive and optimistic view
    • Learning oriented
    • Insightful and practical minded
    • Excellent level of health and fitness for handling customer baggage and wheelchairs
    • Excellent personal presentation and deportment
    • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
    • Eligible for an Aviation Security Identification Card
    • Pass Drug and Alcohol & Audio tests

    DESIREABLES

    • A second language skill
    • A current Red ASIC 
    • Able to work in a team environment
    • Limited restrictions on the ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
    • Must be available most weekends
    • 15 - 20 hours per week
    • Available for 3 weeks full time training
