Completing ‘Regional Work’ or ‘Farm Work’ is a great way to stay longer in Australia. To be eligible and before you apply for a second or third Working Holiday (subclass 417) visa, you must have already completed a prescribed minimum period of “specified work” in certain circumstances.
If you have spent 3 calendar months (or a total of 88 days on and off), working in designated regional parts of Australia doing what the Immigration Department classified ‘Specified Work’, then you could be eligible to apply for an extra year Down Under.
