    A family owned and operated pet care facility located in Willawong, Brisbane.

    • We are after a hard worker to join our dynamic team who fit the following requirements: 
    • MUST love dogs, cats and people
    • Strong administration skills 
    • Basic algebra/maths skills (for quick/accurate quoting)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Ability to adapt to new software 
    • Able to answer large volumes of calls
    • Able to deal with various types of customers with ease 
    • Excellent multi-tasking skills 
    • Physically fit (able to lift 20kg, handle strong/heavy pets)
    • Able to administer medication (topical/oral/diabetic needles)
    • Customer service focused 
    • Excellent attention to detail (Very important to us!)
    • Brilliant communication skills and a positive attitude   
    • Able to work split shifts 7 days a week (7am-12noon, 2-5pm) 
    • Live locally or happy and willing to travel for split shifts 
    • Available to work school holidays and all public holidays
    • Car Licence & Own Transport  
    • Cash handling/eftpos experience

    What we do is 365 days a year. All staff members must be available during all school holidays and public holidays (Christmas, New Years Day, Easter etc). We are a busy facility and require our staff to be adaptable to our fast-paced work environment and be reliable as we are a small team. We operate in rain, hail and shine so being able and happy to work in the weather is a must.

    The role will involve working in the office back-to-back with the Office Manager and attending to the cattery through the week. All staff are in charge of monitoring and recording behaviour of the pets and working with the rest of the team to maintain communication regarding all aspects of our guests' welfare. In the office, the position is predominantly customer service focused, administration work and being the communication between our facility and our customers. As Cattery Attendant, making sure our feline guests are boarding in a clean environment, brushing, exercising, being fed the appropriate diet and monitoring all cats for any issues. 

    Hours: Approximately 24-30 hours per week; Minimum 3 days per week comprising of shifts 7am-12noon, 2pm-5pm with extra hours during peak seasons (Qld school holidays).
