Senior Project Engineer required for a 6-month contract working for an award-winning Tier 1 Builder.

* Day-to-day management of junior engineers, site, and safety plans.
* Management of work programmes in order to meet the budget effectively in line with quality and safely.
* Effective Planning from the start of the project through to the finishing stages of defect management.
* Contribute to aspects and/or phases of projects and, under limited supervision, identifying issues.
* Contribute to the preparation of construction reports, contract and schedules, ensuring alignment with company procedures and compliance with applicable standards.
* Perform and have authority of engineering management over subcontractors on the input into design from submission to approval for handover.
* Liaising with the Construction Manager alongside the Project Manager.

Must have skills & experience:

* 8+ years' experience in the construction industry
* Competent in Finishes and Fitout
* Primavera P6 experience
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline
* Experience in a senior project engineering role and undertaking complex and high-volume business projects, and/or expert knowledge of construction.

Duration: 6-month Contract with an excellent hourly rate.
Location: Based in Eastern Sydney.
