A well regarded Fitout and Refurbishment contractor specialising in government and emergency services projects is delivering a critical fitout and refurbishment project in Lismore. With a strong pipeline of work and a focus on safety, quality and community outcomes, this organisation is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery on site.

Your New Role:
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day to day site operations on an emergency services building refurbishment and fitout project. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage subcontractors, coordinate trades, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard over the 5-month programme.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing all on-site activities from site establishment through to completion
* Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
* Ensuring WHS compliance on a live and sensitive operational site
* Monitoring programme, quality and productivity
* Managing site documentation, inductions and permit systems
* Liaising with project stakeholders, consultants and client representatives

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager managing fitout and refurbishment projects independently
* Experience working on government or emergency services facilities is highly regarded up to $5 to10 million
* Strong knowledge of WHS requirements and site compliance
* Ability to manage multiple trades and tight timeframes
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Current White Card and relevant site management qualifications
