Description:
A leading contractor delivering landmark commercial projects across Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their team on a major building development in the Sydney CBD. This is a 6 month contract suited to a well rounded engineer with strong capability across both structure and finishes on large scale builds.

Your New Company:
You’ll be joining a highly respected Tier 1 contractor known for delivering complex, city shaping projects. Their Sydney team is expanding to support the next phase of a flagship CBD development, offering exposure to a fast paced, high performing environment.

Your New Role:
As Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in driving delivery across multiple work fronts. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site leadership team to ensure program, quality, and commercial outcomes are met.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing structural and finishes packages from procurement through to delivery
* Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
* Monitoring program performance and implementing recovery strategies where required
* Overseeing quality assurance, ITPs, and compliance documentation
* Leading design coordination and resolving technical issues on site.
* Ensuring safety standards and site protocols are upheld at all times

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

* Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
* Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on large scale commercial or mixed use projects $200m+
* Strong technical capability across both structure and finishes
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex packages and drive program outcomes
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast paced Tier 1 environment
