About the role

Germax Interiors is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join our team in our workshop located in Greenacre, NSW. This full-time role will see you play a key part in the fabrication of bespoke joinery and furniture for commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

• Reading and interpreting design specifications to produce custom joinery and furniture pieces

• Operating woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, and sanders to fabricate components

• Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment

• Collaborating with the production team to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard

What we're looking for

• Completed trade qualification in Cabinet Making or a related trade

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Cabinet Maker or Joiner in a workshop environment

• Able to interpret detailed shop drawings

• Proficient in the use of power tools and woodworking machinery

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must hold valid Australian work rights
