The Pony is looking for a pizza chef/pizza maker to join our kitchen team from September through to January, with the potential for longer-term work for the right person.

We’re an award-winning brewery in the Adelaide Hills, just outside Mount Barker (SA)—and our wood-fired pizzas are a big part of what we’re known for.

This isn’t just a “put toppings on pizzas” job. You’ll be part of a busy, professional kitchen, working across our customer-facing wood oven, food preparation, cooking, service, and the pass. You’ll be right where the action is—with plenty of interaction with our guests.

🍕 YOU’LL NEED

• At least 3 years’ experience in a busy kitchen or pizza environment
• Experience with a wood-fired pizza oven is highly desirable.
• A good command of English—you'll need to communicate confidently with the kitchen team and customers
• To already hold a valid Working Holiday or Work and Holiday visa with the appropriate work rights
• To be reliable, punctual and ready to work
• To be clean, organised and able to keep your cool when the tickets start flying
• To take pride in your food
• To enjoy working as part of a team and helping wherever needed
